Collection: Sophia Gasparian

Art exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Sophia Gasparian is now on display at Jones Coffee Roasters in South Pasadena (1006 Mission St, South Pasadena, CA 91030). The community is invited to view the collection daily from 7am to 5pm during café hours. The exhibition will be on display until Sunday, June 23rd, 2024.

A Brief Introduction

Sophia Gasparian, also known as Happily Ever Sofia, is a Los Angeles-based artist. Her wheat-pasted images of peaceful young women have challenged the macho hegemony of street art culture and emphasized the feminine spirit. The graphic elements in her adhesive street art make the viewing experience accessible to the working class, who may feel intimidated by the elitism surrounding contemporary art. Sophia's work encourages viewers to embrace the past, preserve the current cultural legacy, and advocate for equal human rights worldwide.
