Born in Metro Detroit, South Pasadena resident Scott Kuza has been involved in various art forms as an actor, writer, and photographer for over 20 years. Scott’s photography series on display is inspired by the conversation between the lens and the self: how we perceive what we see through the camera and the internal relationship that is later revealed when the film is translated into a printable form. Scott then takes the images and writes original one-off sentences, hoping to encourage the viewer to pause and reflect on everyday landscapes and our personal relationships with them.
