The exhibition will be on display from Friday, August 2nd to Thursday, August 22nd at the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center, located in Burbank, California (1100 West Clark Ave, 91506). Guests are invited to view the art exhibition Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM, Fridays from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Curatorial consultations are available upon request.
An Brief Introduction
Dr. Ginger Lai's artistic journey began in Taipei, Taiwan, where her early passion for visual expression and curiosity about the human psyche took root. Immigrating to the United States at sixteen, she pursued psychology studies at the University of Southern California and Pepperdine University, shaping her unique perspective at the intersection of art and mental health.
Fusing Eastern Sumi ink painting with Western abstraction, Dr. Lai's artwork reflects her innermost thoughts and emotions, inviting viewers to interpret her energy-filled creations devoid of preconceptions. Her recent exploration of sacred geometry, influenced by a profound spiritual transformation in 2023, adds depth to her work, symbolizing personal growth and the interconnectedness of existence.
As an entrepreneur, Dr. Lai's ventures, including Gingi, Inc. and ABC Barter, have earned her recognition and awards, while her jewelry designs echo the spirituality of her paintings. Exhibiting within California, from the Sasse Museum of Art to the Palos Verdes Art Center, Dr. Lai's commitment to sharing her artistic vision continues to inspire, affirming her belief in the transformative power of creativity to heal and empower others.

About the Art Exhibition: The World Between
To Dr. Lai, art expresses what we can’t say, no matter how expressive our vocabulary. Art and the artists who create it are boundless, unfettered by rules, exploring an expansive range of ideas that often seem contradictory and in opposition.
In this show, the artist explores two extremes inspired by an assortment of varied stimuli—from non-traditional sound baths to the millennia-old practice of daily meditation. The artist explores the abstract in oil and glitter alongside natural gemstones of custom jewelry and their counterpoints—cut and polished jewelry and the ordered symmetry of Plato's perfect forms captured in pen and ink works of Sacred Geometry. From these opposing goalposts, the artist establishes a framework of boundaries within which a host of future possibilities arise. Here are two worlds at opposite ends of visual perceptions, signposts for a future between the abstract and the ordered. A stepping stone for exploring The World Between.
