Sector Seven Contemporary Art Gallery (S7CAG) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a group art show at The Crush Pad in Pasadena (693 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105) on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
The group show will feature a new collection of artwork by Christian and Federico Tresierras, abstract works by Anna Léger-Hawks, photography by David Slegers, abstract and impressionist landscapes by Theresa Kennedy, and surreal expressionism by Hirotaka Suzuki.
During the reception, RareBird Ceramics and Sad Flame Ceramics will present a new collection of finely crafted, handmade pieces. Emily Tyra, of RareBird Ceramics, draws inspiration from the rich color palettes and landscapes of California and other sweeping coastlines she has explored in her travels.
Sad Flame Ceramics will feature functional pieces inspired by nature, cartoons, and insects, with distinctive design elements such as raised reliefs and hand-painted details that emphasize a playful and artistic approach.
This art show marks the second collaboration between The Academy of Special Dreams, The Crush Pad, and Sector Seven Contemporary Art Gallery (S7CAG), celebrating inclusivity in the arts for individuals with disabilities by showcasing artwork by Christian and Federico Tresierras. The Tresierras brothers are California natives who have previously exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Bridge Gallery at Los Angeles City Hall and the City of Alhambra City Hall Gallery, and they were recently honored with a Certificate of Appreciation by the City of Los Angeles for their contributions to the 17th Annual Disability Art Exhibition in October 2024.
This group art exhibition will be on display from Tuesday, November 12, 2024, until Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Guests can view the art exhibition at The Crush Pad (693 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105), which shares its facility with Jones Coffee Roasters, during their operating hours. The cafe is open daily from 7 AM to 5 PM, while the wine bar is open from noon to 8 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 PM on Sundays. See you there!
