Hello everyone!
It is been a pleasure of mine to see the pop-up for Sector Seven Contemporary Art Gallery in South Pasadena come together. It has been a whirlwind to get the art gallery prepared for the recent group art show. Fortunately, and with much gratitude, the reception was a great success – thank you again to all those who came out, it was a pleasure to see community members enjoy the space together!
It has been a great pleasure to be a part of the South Pasadena community and feel the space is a great location for a much needed art gallery. Being a life long resident of South Pasadena, it would be an absolute dream to service the community with an art gallery that fellow South Pasadenans can enjoy. The pop-up gallery will be closing by December 27th.
Having the doors open in the last several weeks has been eye opening and mind expanding to say the least. The amount of artists and quality of artwork available in South Pasadena is incredible! It has been my absolute pleasure to meet a unique group of artists, such as, the young adult finding their way, to the more established professional, that have brought the art scene their unique perspective.
On the other side of the spectrum, it has been equally inspiring to meet many art collectors who are happy to see a space like ours available to them where they can find local, national, and international artists within their own hometown. The collectors have equally been unique in their sense of style and appreciation for the artistry.
Being an art gallery and selling artwork is not our only talent and mission. We will begin to incorporate new services for the community to enjoy, from morning meditation classes, professional led artist classes, to being an event venue for the general public and organizations to use, will be some of the new services we will bring. Stay connected with us as we evolve.
We are officially open Wednesday through Saturday from 1pm to 8pm and available by appointment. During the South Pasadena Farmer’s Market which takes place every Thursday, we do tend to stay open longer so guests can enjoy the art and space.
It has been a great pleasure to be service to the community thus far. Thank you to all those who have been of support. Happy holidays to you and yours! – Esteban
