Raised in the San Francisco fog, Stephen Dudro has been creating art his entire life. Through the medium of paint, he seeks to capture the essence of a place.

His landscapes are inspired by his explorations of California—its coast, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Pasadena. Rooted in Impressionism, Stephen focuses on collecting the elements that make a place memorable and rearranging them into unique, picturesque compositions. Fog. Surfing. Palm trees. Freeways.

Stephen studied painting, drawing, and sculpture at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco before earning a BFA in Fine Art Painting from Cal State Channel Islands. He has exhibited his work in both group and solo shows across California. In addition to his fine art pursuits, Stephen works in film and television as an art director and production designer. His notable credits include Sorry to Bother You (2018), White Noise (2022), and Winning Time (2022–2023). He is a member of the Art Directors Guild and the Television Academy.
