The South Pasadena community and surrounding neighborhoods are invited to attend the Summer Arts Crawl on Saturday, July 13th, from 4 PM to 9 PM. Sector Seven Contemporary Art Gallery, in conjunction with Jones Coffee Roasters, will showcase a variety of artists and musicians during the citywide event. The cafe will also feature an artist reception for cinematographer and photographer Mark Woods, highlighting his photography exhibition titled "The Arroyo Series."

Sponsored by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, this family-friendly neighborhood night-on-the-town welcomes the community to experience a variety of interactive activities, open houses, food and drink specials from local vendors and restaurants, and shopping throughout the business district. Art Exhibition by Mark Woods at Jones Coffee Roasters [3PM to 5PM]
The Arroyo Series, a photography exhibition by Mark Woods, will be on display at Jones Coffee Roasters in South Pasadena from Saturday, June 29th, through Sunday, July 28th, 2024. We invite you to visit the cafe during the arts crawl from 3 PM to 5 PM to meet the artists and view the exhibition during the artist reception.
In this upcoming photography exhibition titled The Arroyo Series, Mark Woods presents a collection of images captured in Pasadena’s Arroyo over a six-year period. The images are created using View Cameras, black-and-white film, and printed on archival fiber-based paper, with no digital steps in the image-making process.

Art and Music Garden [3PM to 7PM]
The patio area at Jones Coffee Roasters will host an eclectic exhibition of artist booths, featuring local favorites and newly integrated artists. We are also excited to announce a lineup of musicians who will perform original music, spanning genres such as rock, Latin folk, and Delta blues.
Music Lineup
Coyote Call (3PM to 5PM) - A guitar duo led by James Whooley will perform original folk and acoustic rock songs, showcasing tracks from their recent EP titled 'Of an Evening,' specially curated for the South Pasadena Arts Crawl.
Leah Cordova (5PM to 6PM) - Singer and songwriter performing original acoustic latin folk music.
William Fox (6PM to 7PM) - Back by popular demand, solo guitarist William Fox will be performing Delta Blues, Americana, Folk, Country, and Roots Music. During his performance, Fox provides historical insights into the music and instrumentation, offering an engaging musical performance and a history lesson in Americana music. This is a performance that both families and music enthusiasts are sure to enjoy!
Art Booths
Anna Légar-Hawks - Abstract artwork created with acrylic, paint, and metallic markers on stretched canvases, often described as stained glass window-style paintings. Anna's current series of artwork is inspired by street art, music, and movement.
annEpeck - Presenting a collection of original artwork and prints in a unique, colorful, and whimsical style, typically created with acrylic and watercolor, and occasionally with black Indian ink. The art collection includes various sizes, from small pieces on paper to large artworks on wood board or stretched canvas. Jesus Cruz - Impressionist abstract pop-art depicting a variety of pop-culture scenes, emphasized by vibrant color and movement, with both original artwork and prints available. Cruz's artwork has been exhibited throughout Southern California, including at the Downtown Santa Ana Art Walk and the First Thursdays Art Walk in Laguna Beach.
Richard Negri - Specializing in expressive portraiture, Richard Negri depicts imagined faces using acrylic, ink, watercolor, or charcoal on variously sized canvas boards or framed canvases.
